My Image Project

My image project focuses on a specific band from the Riot Grrrl movement, Bikini Kill. I chose to do this as a way to highlight the specific work they did for thid movement. For decades,
This project highlights the creativity and determination of the women who helped shape the movement. I wanted to show a close up of them in order to humanize them and show that at the end of the day they are people just like us and they expirience so many struggles that other women have.
